Bina Theeng Tamang, the winner of the National Multilingual Poetry Competition and the Twelve Story Story Competition, has published two collections of short stories, Chuki and Yambunera, and a collection of poems, Rato Ghar.
Ramesh Bhusal
Ramesh Bhusal, who works at Third Pole, is an environmental journalist. Watching South Asian programs on the Global Network of Environmental Journalists, he has worked as a Chief Environmental Correspondent for The Himalayan Times, a presenter and producer on the Ujyalo Radio Network, and as a Science Correspondent for the BBC Nepali Service.
Chandra Prakash Dhakal
Chandra Prakash Dhakal, Chairman and Co-Founder of IME Group, is the Honorary Consul General to Indonesia. He is also the Senior Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and a member of the Nepal Investment Board.
Shilshila Acharya
Shilshila Acharya, Chief Executive Officer of the Himalayan Climate Initiative and co-founder of Our Sisters — The Green Angels Social Enterprise, has led various campaigns to ban plastic bags, develop sustainable lifestyles and cyclical economies. Receiving the WWF Conservation Award in 2018, she has been recognized by Global Good Food as an emerging young social entrepreneur.
Rajkumar Baniya
He has worked for many prestigious magazines including Kantipur, Nagarik, Naya Patrika, and Rajdhani for 25 years and is known for his review, profile writing, and editing.
Dr. Rolina Dhital
Health researcher and medical doctor Rolina Dhital is the founder and chief executive officer of Health Action and Research, which seeks innovative health solutions. She has written numerous research papers for various international journals and is involved in research on covid.
Roshan Mishra
Roshan Mishra, director of the Taragaon Museum, manages the Nepal Architecture Archive. He started the Global Nepali Museum in 2019 to keep records of Nepal's lost heritage. He is also the founder of the Mishra Museum dedicated to his father Manuj Babu Mishra.
Nischal Basnet
Nepali film director, actor, and singer Nischan Basnet has directed 'Loot 1', 'Talak Jung Versus Tulke' and 'Loot 2'. He has acted in films like 'Kabaddi', 'Two Rupees' and 'Prasad'. He has received many honors and awards including the National Film Award for Best Director.
Biswo Poudel
Biswo Poudel, an associate professor at the School of Management at Kathmandu University and a senior economist at the International Labor Organization, is also a columnist for the Kantipur Daily. He specializes in energy, labor, natural resources, economics, etc.
Ayushi KC
Ayushi KC is the founder and chief executive officer of Khaalisisi Management, a waste management forum that connects waste management workers with waste sellers. Committed to raising public awareness about the reuse of goods, she has a dream to establish a waste management industry in Nepal. She was listed as one of 30 people under the age of 30 by Forbes magazine.
Priyanka Karki
Miss Teen Nepal 2005 Priyanka Karki is a popular artist. Working in women's and children's health, sanitation, education, menstrual hygiene, etc., she co-founded the Ayanka Foundation in 2018. She started directing and producing 'Just Another Love Story' in 2019. She has just finished shooting for her upcoming film 'Basanta'.
Rabindra Puri
Rabindra Puri, the custodian of cultural heritage, is the first Nepali to receive the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Conservation Award. Through the Nepal Vocational Academy in Panauti and Bhaktapur, he produces 200 skilled manpower annually for the preservation of architecture. Leads about 400 workers to preserve traditional architecture. He has set up the Museum of Stolen Art to make people aware of art theft, for which he has been awarded the Mahendra Vidya Bhushan Award.
Sobita Gautam
Journalist and youth activist Sobita Gautam runs Nepal Television's weekly program Health Concerns. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Association of Youth Organizations of Nepal. Gautam, who has a bachelor's degree in history and political science, is also a law student.
Swechha Raut
Swechcha Raut, a journalist who likes to write news related to human interest and art and culture, is affiliated with the news portal Pahilopost.
Hari Khanal
Hari Khanal of Kapilvastu is pursuing a diploma in crop science. He is interested in literature and spirituality and believes that education can improve those who commit crimes, not punish them. He has been working with his friends to build a library in the prison so that they can contribute to building a better society if they can make the prisoners wise.
Bikesh Kabin
Bikesh Kabin, who is studying journalism and English at the undergraduate level from Mahendra Multipurpose Campus, Dharan, is continuously working on the development of reading culture. His essays and works of writing stories, poems, and essays have been published in various magazines.
Chandra Prakash Baniya
Chand Prakash Bania, who has been in the teaching profession for a long time, is a former member of the House of Representatives. The creator of various novels, his latest novel 'Maharani' has won the Madan Puraskar Award. He has also edited books including 'Baniyan Darpan' and 'Jalpa'.
Durga Karki
Durga Karki is a lawyer by training, a journalist by hobby, and a writer by attachment. Her first collection of short stories and non-fiction for various dailies and online portals has been published.
Avasna Pandey
Abhasna Pandey, Program Manager, Center for Investigative Journalism Nepal, holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her articles have been published on the online platforms of The Kathmandu Post, The Record, and Stimson Center.
Keshab Dahal
Keshab Dahal is active in political-social campaigns and writing. Dahal, who writes regular political columns in various newspapers including Kantipur Dainik, has published 'Nepal ko Rajnitik Punargathan' (non-fiction) and 'Mokshabhum' (novel).
Kuber Chalise
Kuver Chalise, who has been a journalist for more than two and a half decades, is one of the few journalists working in Nepali and English magazines. He has been the head of the trade and economic bureau at The Himalayan Times, Annapurna Post, and Republica and is currently the editor of Karobar Daily.
Bhaskar Dhungana
Filmmaker and film entrepreneur Bhaskar Dhungana is the writer and producer of 'Kagbeni', the producer of 'Sano Sansar' and the director and producer of 'Suntali Films'. He is also the co-founder of QFX Cinemas and Digital Cinema Nepal.
Aranico Pandey
Aranico Pandey, chief executive officer of the Yulens Educational Foundation, holds a bachelor's degree in environmental science and public policy from Harvard University, a master's degree in land resources from the University of Wisconsin, and a doctorate in atmospheric science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Until January 2020, Pandey, Regional Program Manager of ISIMOD's Atmosphere Program, has served on the Board of Directors of the United Nations Climate and Clean Air Coalition and various working groups of the Government of Nepal.
Alok Tuladhar
Documentary filmmaker Alok Tuladhar is interested in documenting natural and man-made heritage. Engaged in the campaign to preserve tangible and intangible Nepali culture, he has worked in the field of computer software for more than two decades.

Manushree Mahat, 16, who is studying in class 10, wants to spend her school holidays with books.
Prithvi Subba Gurung
Gandaki Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung is a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal. He is also the Gandaki state in-charge of the CPN (Maoist). Gurung, who worked as the then CPN-UML secretary, has become the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
Kiran Gurung
Gandaki Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Kiran Gurung is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal. He is the former Minister of Forest, Environment, and Land Conservation.
Manju Devi Gurung
Manju Devi Gurung, Deputy Chief of Pokhara Metropolitan City, is a member of the Kaski District Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal. She is also a central member of the All Nepal Women's Association.
Sita Sundas
Sita Sundas, head of the District Coordination Committee Syangja, is also the central chairperson of the District Coordination Committee Federation.
Pradip Rodan
Sahitya Sadhana Pratisthan, Gorkha General Secretary Pradip Rodan is famous for his ghazals and performances. Rodan teaches an intervening presence in Nepali ghazals.
Amrit Subedi
Amrit Subedi, who has led Ghazal Sandhya Pokhara, writes in various genres of literature. He is the Gandaki chief of OnlineKhabar.com and a senior correspondent of Samadhan Dainik.
Saugat Wagle
Saugat Wagle, 20, is blind from birth. While studying BA level development finance at the National College, he is engaged in a campaign to expand the access of the blind to the banking sector. He has received awards at the national level, including the 'National Volunteer Award 2020' given by the Government of Nepal.
Bhavana Tamang
Born in Jamire, Sindhupalchowk, Bhavana is a doctor by profession. Bhavana, who has completed her secondary education from Samata Shiksha Niketan, a Buddhist school in Kathmandu for 100 rupees a month, is very interested in school level education and its quality. Amidst extreme family poverty, Samata advocates for a society where no one should be deprived of the opportunity to study because of poverty.
Jagannath Lamichhane
Writer and social activist Jagannath Lamichhane is known on social media as 'Jagarnat Mindset'. He is pursuing an MSc in Global Mental Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Receiving the Outstanding Award for Mental Health in 2015 from the World Health Organization, he has a keen interest in socio-political campaigns.
Illya Bhattarai
Illya Bhattarai is basically a storyteller. She has published five collections of short stories and a collection of children's stories, including 'Manmanai Ta Ho' and 'Silent Questions'. He has also published four anthologies and his anthology 'Dakshinayan' won the Best Peace Prize of 2075 BS. He is from Penn International Nepal. He is also a member of the Foundation of Writers and Literature.
Yangesh
Yangesh, head of Kantipur Publications' online portal ekantipur, is known for film reviews and profile writing. Hindi writer Uday Prakash has translated two books 'Mohandas' and 'Nail Cutter' and published his book 'Bhuiyan'.
Bonita Sharma
Bonita Sharma, co-founder, and chief executive officer of the non-profit organization 'Sochai', was named by the BBC as one of the 100 most influential women in the world. She has also received the Goalkeeper Global Goals Progress Award from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Deepak Pariyar
Deepak Pariyar, who has been working as a journalist in Pokhara for 13 years, is the deputy editor of Kantipur Daily.
Sonika Manandhar
Sonika Manandhar, co-founder and chief technology officer of Aeloi Technologies, has worked for more than a decade as a software programmer at Microsoft Innovation Center and other organizations. She and her organization have received numerous awards from organizations such as the United Nations Capital Development Fund, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. She was shortlisted for the United Nations Environment Program's Young Champions of the Earth 2019, Asia and the Pacific. She was also listed by the National Geographic Society as Emerging Explorer 2020. She has done computer engineering from Tribhuvan University and has studied at Cingular University, USA and Korea Aerospace Research Institute.
Basant Basnet
Basanta Basnet, Editor-in-Chief of Shilapatra Multimedia Magazine, has been active in mainstream journalism for over a decade. He has been the editor of Kantipur, Nagarik, and Annapurna Post, and has led various departments. His talk titled 'Chiya Khanu Bhayo?' has been popular lately.
Dr. Anup Subedi
Infectious disease specialist Anup Subedi has also studied public health issues. Aware of the problems faced by Nepalis mainly in the health care and public health sectors, he has been writing and speaking about the concerns of Nepalis in the epidemic of Kovid-19.
Milan Bagale
Milan Baga, an architect, and rural development expert is currently a consultant on the Nepal Housing Reconstruction Project, run by the United Nations Development Program. Bagale, who writes on habitat, construction culture, and heritage conservation, has written a book titled 'Desh Drishti' and 'Prayagdatta Tiwariko Krishi Katha'. For the past seven years, he has been writing an article in Himal Khabar Patrika under the column 'Desh Drishti'.
Shivani Singh Tharu
Shivani Singh Tharu, who has been the presenter of Nepal Television's program 'Mero Geet Mero Sandesh' and 'Mulyankan', has worked as a writer and director in the BBC radio drama 'Katha Mitho Sarangiko'. She has also written and read the BBC radio drama 'Kathamala'. Her play 'Virtual Reality' has been staged by Nepal's Actors Studio at the ninth drama festival of the National School of Drama in India. 'Kathmandu ma Ekdin' is her first novel.
Prakriti Bhattarai Basnet
Prakriti Bhattarai Basnet, the founding chairperson of Political Literacy for Women, is very active in increasing the political space for women. Prakriti, 21, is also a campaigner for the National Campaign Against Violence Against Women. In collaboration with the citizen media, she runs a discussion program called 3 Ddanghan on socio-political issues.
Niranjan Kunwar
Niranjan Kunwar is a translator and writer. His book, 'Between the Queens and the Cities', has published recently.
