About the Book

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Revised & Expanded (Xbox360, PC, PS3): Prima Official Game Guide (Official Strategy Guide) is the official game guide for the action role-playing video game called Oblivion. This single player role-playing game (RPG) is set in Cyrodiil, a province of Tamriel. The gamer must take up a character and then fight against a fanatical cult known as the Mythic Dawn. However, the player is free to ignore the main quest and instead go into multiple side quests. He or she must continuously try to improve his or her character's skills, both major and minor.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Revised & Expanded (Xbox360, PC, PS3): Prima Official Game Guide (Official Strategy Guide) starts off with an introduction and then moves into character classes. Here, the player can customise his or her race, skills, gender, birth sign and abilities. This guide contains detailed maps of every part of this fantasy world. Furthermore, special maps for the main quest are also included. The author has also incorporated walkthroughs for all kinds of quests, including freeform ones. Some of the faction quests include The Thieves Guild, The Fighters Guild, The Dark brotherhood and The Mages Guild. One chapter dives into the details of the denizens of Tamriel and Oblivion.
