Man’s desire for happiness runs in a similar vein. A traveler lost in the darkness of sorrow wishes the light of joy to be constant so that pitfalls of suffering can be avoided. This very constant undercurrent of happiness wished by all the beings in miseries is joy in other words. Those who attained it gave a different name, Nirvana. The theme of this novel too is soaked by the quest, urge, and spirit of very joy.
