About The Author
Seegla Brecher, born in Montreal, has studied and taught DaVita Vedanta philosophy, meditation and Sanskrit texts since the 1980s.Having earned a B.Mus., she completed extensive tutorial studies in Indian classical music, which she has performed in concert around the world. She has collaborated with musicians from Canada, India, Hungary and Israel to produce recordings of ancient Sanskrit texts set to her own compositions. The Avadhoot Gita of Song of the Unborn, the culmination of her in-depth study gives expression to her own journey.
