This book is a detailed inquiry into the state of teaching, curricula, research and the problems faced by the disciplines of Sociology and Anthropology in Nepal. It explores the history of Sociology and Anthropology teaching and research, and their expansion and popularity at the graduate and post graduate levels at various universities in Nepal. Based on a field survey and review of literature, it analyzes the achievements and gaps as well as challenges faced in these disciplines in the country.
