Shabda-dekhi Wakya-samma Literacy Manual Book in Nepali for Diaspora

नेपाली भाषा सिकाइ कक्षामा मात्र सीमित हुने विषय होइन । ‘शब्ददेखि वाक्यसम्म’ साक्षरता म्यानुअल नेपाल बाहिर बस्ने नेपाली डायस्पोराको दोस्रो पुस्ताको लागि घरैमा बसेर विनागुरु आफैले नेपाली भाषा पढ्न र लेख्नसक्ने गरी तयार पारिएको यस प्रकारको पहिलो पुस्तक हो । पुस्तकका लेखक माधव शिवाकोटीले अंग्रेजी रोमन, नेपाली अक्षर र अंग्रेजीमा समेत अनुवाद गरी तयार गर्नुभएको छ । विशुद्ध अंग्रेजी भाषामा मात्र सिक्दै आएका नेपाली दोस्रो पुस्ताका आप्रवासीहरुलाई यो म्यानुअल उपयोगी स्रोत सामग्रीको रुपमा रहनेछ । यो पुस्तक शिवाकोटीको राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तरराष्ट्रिय संघ–संस्थामा रही विभिन्न देशमा काम गरेको अनुभवको आधारमा अनौपचारिक शिक्षा विधि प्रयोग गरी लेखिएकाले यसमा पाठकहरुले सीधै शब्द र वाक्यहरु नेपाली संस्कृतिसँग जोडिएर परिवारसँंग बस्दै सिकाइ गर्न सक्नेछन् । अंग्रेजी र नेपाली दुवै भाषा स्वाध्यायन विधिबाट सहजै सिक्न सकिने भएकोले यसलाई साक्षरता म्यानुअल भनिएको हो । प्रस्तुत पुस्तक व्यक्तिगत रुपमा भाषा सिक्नको लागि लाभदायी त छदैछ, अनौपचारिक शिक्षामा काम गर्ने संघ–संस्थाका लागि पनि उत्तिकै उपयोगी सावित हुनेछ । - कपिल काफ्ले

Learning Nepali language is not a subject limited only to the classroom. Literacy manual 'Shabdadekhi Waakyasamma' (from word to sentence) is the first book of its kind prepared for the second generation of the Nepali diaspora living outside Nepal so that they can read and write the Nepali language by themselves at home. Madhav Shivakoti, the author of the book, has written it in English Roman, Nepali alphabet, and English translation. This manual will be a useful resource for Nepali second-generation immigrants who are learning only the English language. This book is written using a non-formal education method based on Shivakoti's experience of working in national and international organizations, so the readers can learn words and sentences directly from Nepali culture while living with their families.It is called Literacy Manual as both English and Nepali languages can be learned easily through self-study methods.
