While this book is produced in my name as the author, I recognise that it is indeed a product of many with whom I have interacted in different domains. I must recognise these crucial contributions. This book is primarily based on my PhD thesis which I did at School of Development Studies, University of East Anglia, UK. I benefited enormously from Dr. John Cameron’s intellectual inputs as supervisor, mentor, and indeed a highly engaging deliberative partner of this research. It is through his academic interface that I have been able to locate and articulate interesting theoretical dimensions to the case of my analysis. I also recognize the inputs of co-supervisor Dr. Bryan Maddox, who put a critical eye on the epistemological and theoretical approach of the research. I also benefited from the company of Krishna Paudel through different stages of the research, including the fieldwork.
