In February 2011 we traveled through the Kathmandu Valley for about 7 days. Many people crossed our road. We met old people, young people, happy and not-so-happy people, working people, religious people, healthy and sick people, couples, families, mothers with children, and children alone. Some were rich, but most were poor (although this is a hard judgment to make, since it all depends on the standard used when making this judgment). All, however, were extremely hospitable, gentle and sincerely kind. Here are some of the colorful people of Nepal.
