Padmasambhava is a Sanskrit word that literally translates as 'One Born from a Lotus'.
An eighth-century Indian Buddhist master, Padmasambhava is widely venerated as a 'second Buddha' across Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and the Himalayan states of India.
