About the book:
If A Wind Hides It is a poetic novel on war and emotional absenteeism. The psychological thriller is divided into two parts. Each chapter tells an electrify- ing story of settings in some precise moments in the life of Alfrine Auden, which float like in a drama, describ- ing and reflecting certain time interval with relevance to the past. It is more like a stirring dramatic novel and is concerned in reflections rather than descriptions. A story that could be shared with relevance to every mind near and far. Alfrine returns from the Vietnam War and goes for a vacation in the Himalayas in Nepal with his girlfriend Acacia as he tries to get back to his life as a writer before the war, where he starts making sense of the grip of insanity in the otherwise all sane and beautiful world around him. After all, we feel the same - insanity screams in all silences.
