रमेश विकल (वि. सं. १९८५ – २०६५) नेपाली कथाकार र उपन्यासकार थिए ।अविरल बग्दछ इन्द्रावतीका लेखक विकलले आख्यान, यात्रा साहित्य र बालसाहित्यमा प्रमुख रूपमा कलम चलाए । उनी नेपाल प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठानका प्राज्ञ पनि थिए । नयाँसडकको गीत कथासङ्ग्रहका लागि उनले वि. सं. २०१८ को मदन पुरस्कार पाएका थिए।

Ramesh Bikal (1932- 2008) was a Nepalese writer and painter who was known for his works portraying rural life and the lives of common people in Nepal. His early stories had socialist and anti-establishment themes. As a result, he was imprisoned three times between 1949 and 1960. Bikal was the first short story writer to be given the Madan Puraskar award (2018 BS).
Bikal was the first short story writer to be given the Madan Puraskar award. He received the Daulat Bikram Bista Aakhyan Samman Award in 2008 for six decades of contributions to fiction writing in Nepal. In tribute to his memory, Ramesh Vikal Literary Foundation has been established at Arubari, Gokarneshwor.
