Chuden Kabimo is an Indian writer and journalist from Kalimpong, India, known for his contributions to Nepali literature. He gained significant recognition for his debut book, "1986," a collection of short stories, which earned him the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar in 2018. Kabimo’s second book, "Faatsung," published in 2018, was shortlisted for the Madan Puraskar and later translated into English as "Song of the Soil," which was also nominated for the JCB Prize in 2022. His works often focus on the Gorkhaland movement in India, reflecting the socio-political struggles of the region. Kabimo's storytelling is lauded for its emotional depth and cultural insight, establishing him as an important voice in contemporary Nepali literature.
