Matangi Library, in collaboration with Mobile Library: Nepal, is conducting a zine making workshop this coming week. They hope to engage the participants in a fun session of storytelling and reflection through zines with ideas inspired from the books and themes at the Mobile Library. The workshop will be held at Kaalo.101 premises on Thursday, November 25 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
A word from the facilitator, Nikita, who is a Kathmandu based media producer:
"Zines have a fascinating history in science fiction, punk rock, and revolutionary politics- all of which we’ll get into. And if you stick around, we’ll make one ourselves. As Neil Armstrong, the first person to set foot on the moon said, “One small piece of paper for man, one giant foldable zine for mankind”."
The deadline to register is 23rd Nov, 5 PM. This workshop is free and open for all. There are limited seats available.
