A translation by Rohini Chowdhury of the seventeenth century Braj Bhasha text, Ardhakathanak, into modern Hindi. Ardhakathanak is the autobiography of the poet, merchant and philosopher, Banarasidas. It is possibly the first autobiography in an Indian language.

Along with Rohini's Hindi translation, this book contains Banarasidas's original Braj Bhasha text as well.
