Saraswati Pratikshya is a renowned Nepali poet, writer, and activist, best known for her novel "Nathiya" (2018), which explores the lives of the Badi people. Born in Pokhara, Nepal, to a Thakali family, she was later adopted by the esteemed writer Sarubhakta in 1998. Pratikshya has published several poetry collections, including Yadhyapi Prashnaharu (2005), Bimbaharuko Kathaghara(2009), and Bagi Sarangi (2012). Her literary work has earned her multiple awards, such as the Pahichan Puraskar (2019) and the "Madan Puraskar" nomination, recognizing her contributions to Nepali literature. With a Master's degree in Economics from Tribhuvan University, she has also been honored with awards like the Ganesh and Hastakumari Memorial Award and Lions Literary Award.
