Modnath Prashrit

मोदनाथ प्रश्रित (जन्म वि. सं. १९९९) नेपाली साहित्यकार र राजनीतिक व्यक्ति हुन्। नेकपा(एमाले) सँग संबद्ध प्रश्रित वि. सं. २०५५ मा शिक्षा मन्त्री भएका थिए।मानव महाकाव्य लेखेबापत उनलाई वि. सं. २०२३ सालको मदन पुरस्कार प्रदान गरिएको थियो । राजनीति, पत्रकारिता, साहित्यजस्ता क्षेत्रमा सफलता प्राप्त गरेका प्रश्रितका प्रकाशित पुस्तकहरू यसप्रकार छन्।

Modanath Prasrit is a Nepali writer, politician and political activist. A long time member of the Nepali communist movement, he became the Minister of Education in 2054 BS . His writings reflect his communist ideology. His book Devasur Sangram (Translation: War between Gods and Demons) is particularly noted for its challenge to Hindu orthodoxy.
