Sardar Bhim Bahadur Pande
सरदार भीमबहादुर पाँडे
भीमबहादुर पाँडे नेपाली कूटनीतिज्ञ एवम् इतिहासकार हुन् । उनी विसं. १९७० मा स्याङ्जामा जन्मेर राणाकालको निजामती सेवामा १९८९ सालमा प्रवेश गरी विभिन्न विभागको हाकिम हुँदै पश्चिम जर्मनी र भारतको आवासीय राजदूत भएका थिए ।उनले भारतको लागि नेपाली राजदूतको कारँयभार २१ मे, १९६९ देखि २४ मे, १९७२ सम्म सम्हालेका थिए । भीमबहादुर पाँडेलाई जर्मनीको राजदूतबाट फिर्ता गरी भारत पठाइएको थियो। उनी वि.सं. २०२९ देखि २०३५ सम्म महालेखा परीक्षक थिए । उनलाई महान् कूटनीतिज्ञ मानिन्छ ।
सरदार भीमबहादुरले जुद्ध शमशेर जंगबहादुर राणाको समयमा नेपालको तराईको औद्योगिककरणमा भूमिका निर्वाह गरेका थिए । उनले आफ्ना पूर्वज ऐतिहासिक पाँडे वंशको वंशावली सहितको पुस्तक राष्ट्रभक्तिको झलक: पाँडेवंशको भूमिका लेखेका थिए । उनले त्यस बेलाको नेपाल नामक पुस्तकमा तराईको औद्योगिककरणको कठिनाइँको व्याख्या गरेका थिए ।
Bhim Bahadur Pande was Nepalese diplomat, bureaucrat and historian. He served as Nepalese Ambassador to India from May 21, 1969 to May 24, 1972. Sardar Bhim Bahadur also served to Juddha Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana during his youth. He helped out to industrialize the Nepalese Tarai. He later wrote a book about challenges of industrialization in Terai called Tyas Bela Ko Nepal. He was a member of representative group of Nepal in the 1950 Indo-Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship. He wrote in the same book about the prejudiced and dominant behaviour of Indian authority on signing the Treaty. He also wrote about tyranny of Rana dynasty in the Nepalese literature and education sector.
