Established in 2020, the Gehendra Dhimal Foundation works with an objective to not only give back to the society in kind but also to empower the members of the communities that we live in. The Foundation was started to honour Gehendra Dhimal, a salutation to a soul who put others before self. Dhimal, who worked for over five decades in the film industry, was renowned for not only his professional career but also for his humbleness and his willingness to always reach out to those in need. The Foundation is thus a medium to carry on the legacy of a man, who wanted this world to be a better place to live in.
