A portrait of Nepal’s thriving metal scene, tracing its evolution from the late 1990s, when there were just a handful of bands, to the 40 or so active bands now. The film meets five of them, as well as actors from the old underground movement to paint a portrait of a generation of Nepalis who want to set themselves free from tradition and the violence the country that gripped the country for over a decade.
