A Poetry–Musical Performance
You are invited to "Apwoh Misa: Marching On", a 90-minute multi-lingual poetry-musical created by poet Ujjwala Maharjan, featuring musical performances by Sarada Dongol (percussion), Shanti Nepali (vocals/guitar), and Yaju Acharya (flute). The show brings together songs and musical monologues from the Apwoh Misa project, that has been five year in the making, with new and old poetry and spoken-word narratives, weaving them into personal and political performance. The evening will also feature the premiere of the music video for the project's titular track, directed by Suskihanna Gurung.
