Microbial Genomics

The present title " Microbial genomics" is a fast growing area of research for undergraduate and post-graduate students in life sciences, chemistry, engineering and medicine. The overall objective of this publication is to provide a professional level reference work with comprehensive coverage of the molecular basis of genome and the application of that knowledge in genetics, evolution, medicine, and agriculture. It deals with the life processes at a molecular level genetic disease diagnosis and genetic therapy; the theory and techniques for understanding manipulating, and synthesizing biological molecules and their aggregates; and the application of biological processes to make or modify products to improve plants or animals or to develop microorganisms for specific uses.
