Under the Sleepless Mountain

The author raises her boisterous voice against exploitation, tyranny and the suppression of human beings. In her writing she pleads for women's liberation and the relief of human suffering. Her writing depicts bitter conflict, a class struggle and vivid sketch images of widespread inconsistency and perversions existing in Nepalese society. This novel is based on the student's movement and national refeendum in 1979 in Nepal.
