The Lhasa Atlas

This atlas focuses on the topography, environment, historical development, buildings, and townscape of old Lhasa, the ancient capital of Tibet. Danish architects survey and document about 300 buildings within the boundary of the Lingkor, the pilgrim route surrounding the town. The numerous color and b&w illustrations include new and historical maps and photographs, satellite photographs, drawings of building structures, and watercolors.
