Cruel and Unusual

At 11.05 one December evening in Virginia, murderer Joe Waddell is pronounced dead in the electric chair. Scarpetta is waiting for the arrival of his body. But she also has the body of a young murdered boy. The cases seem unrelated, until she recalls the position of Waddell's victim, which is very similar to that of the young boy.
