Thorn Queen

Thorn Queen opens with Eugenie being crowned the reluctant Queen of the ThornLand, a region of the Otherworld that she won in a battle and accidentally turned into a desert. Being queen isn't always glamorous, and it's interrupting her personal life. When someone starts kidnapping and selling Gentry girls of ThornLand into slavery, Eugenie must put her life on hold and act as a queen to save the girls. This task will test her true nature, and force her to face enemies - old and new.
