Returning to her South Lake Tahoe law office after a stint in Monterey, attorney Nina Reilly becomes caught up in a two-year-old homicide case involving the murder of the wife of a new client during a casino-district robbery when she is assigned to track down the robbery victims, all student witnesses who had lied about their identities.
