Dr. Kamal Lamichhane

Dr. Kamal Lamichhane is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Tsukuba, Japan. He is also an affiliated researcher at the University of Tokyo. His fields of research are disability studies, economics of education, inclusive education, education policy and disability, and disaster risk reduction. Besides focusing on human capital formation and disability-inclusive development, Dr. Lamichhane also studies the association of disability and poverty with particular focus on low- and middle-income countries
