ABOUT JUDY HOBERMAN
Judy Hoberman is Executive Director of the Walking on the Glass Floor Foundation and President of Selling In A Skirt. She has created a suite of workshops, seminars, and coaching programs that take the negativity out of selling. Her thirty years in sales have given her knowledge of and a sense of humor about gender differences in the workplace. Judy's humorous stories about how men and women sell, manage, recruit, and supervise differently shed light on how both genders can better support each other's successes.
As Executive Director of the Walking on the Glass Floor Foundation, Judy has the honor and privilege of supporting companies and organizations that include "women in leadership" in their vision—as well as the women they serve! She helps identify and target industries and individuals to join forces to create an environment where women in leadership thrive. Beyond thriving, they give back in various ways, including but not limited to extending a hand to other women to make their journeys less challenging and lonely.
Judy is an award-winning Corporate Training Director with extensive experience in training, course development, and project management. She was personally selected by the President and CEO of a large insurance company to relocate to Dallas to bring her talents in training to their corporate headquarters as well as to one hundred field offices in forty-four states. In that role, Judy taught more than three thousand agents how to decipher the mysteries of the sales process and create authentic selling systems. In turn, the field agents awarded her with their Character and Integrity Award for her distinct and significant contributions to their successes.
Judy also was named by the Women of Visionary Influence as a finalist for their Mentor of the Year award. She regularly works with companies to improve diversity and women's initiatives in the areas of recruiting, training, coaching, mentoring, and retention.
Prior to Walking on the Glass Floor: Seven Essential Qualities of Women Who Lead, Judy authored three business books for professional women, sales executives, and entrepreneurs. Her previous books are Selling In A Skirt, Famous Isn't Enough, and Pure Wealth.
She hosts a weekly radio show on The Women 4 Women Network/iHeart Radio called Selling In A Skirt and is featured as "The Gender Expert" on Fox News Radio. Judy has appeared on CNN Headlines, ABC, CBS, CW33, and Good Morning Texas, and has contributed articles to numerous publications and journals. She has appeared on the cover of Exceptional People Magazine and is a frequent public speaker. In 2016 she gave a very well-received TEDx Talk about the impacts of pre-judging people.
