Jake Kouns
Jake Kouns lives in the beautiful state of Virginia with his wife Jill, and their three amazing children Elora, Devin, and Ashton. He has recently written this children’s book to introduce young minds to the world of technology.
As the CISO for Risk Based Security and a business-focused technology and information security executive, Jake has acquired several degrees in Business Administration and a number of certifications. He is known internationally for his extensive knowledge and experience in the field of information security. Jake travels to many well-known security conferences on behalf of large companies as an expert in global firewall management and intrusion detection. Several books have been co-authored by Jake including “Security in an IPv6 Environment” and “Information Technology Risk Management in Enterprise Environments”. He has been interviewed by numerous industry publications and featured on the cover of “SCMagazine” in April of 2010.
Although Jake is all business when on the job, his main focus at home is spending time with family. His adoration for both children and technology lead to the creation of this wonderful book, “Daddy Says, Baby Thinks: Wonderful World of Technology”. Along with his father, Jake has come up with a delightful story to introduce little ones to the phrases and accoutrements of this modern society.
