Dr. Mohan Prasad Joshi, MD, MSc, MBBS, has over 20 years of experience supporting 21 low- and middle-income countries in the technical implementation of antimicrobial resistance containment and other pharmaceutical systems strengthening activities through four USAID-funded global programs implemented by Management Sciences for Health (MSH) in the United States. Before joining MSH, Dr. Joshi worked at Tribhuvan University’s Institute of Medicine and Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Nepal for nearly 20 years in various capacities, including as professor and head of clinical pharmacology and academic assistant dean. Dr. Joshi has been a lead and contributing author of multiple peer-reviewed journal publications, technical leadership documents, guidebooks/manuals, and eLearning courses related to antimicrobial resistance containment, rational medicine use, pharmacovigilance, and Global Health Security Agenda. Dr. Joshi published a book of Nepali poems, “Kahaan Chha Thaaun” (Where Is the Place) in 2011 and was the lyricist for a Nepali audio album by the same name released in 2012. In 2023, he published an anthology of English poems, “A Hundred Flowers to Awareness and Death.”
