नुवाकोटको रावलस्वारामा जन्मिएकी बिन्दा पाण्डे जिफन्ट ट्रेड युनियन पोलिसी इन्स्टिच्युटकी अध्यक्ष छिन् । २०६५ मा नेकपाएमालेको केन्द्रीय सदस्य रहेकी पाण्डे २०७१ सालबाट पोलिटब्युरो सदस्य हुँदै हाल नेकपाको केन्द्रीय सदस्यको जिम्मेवारीमा छिन् । २०५८ सालमा राष्ट्रिय महिला आयोगको संस्थापक सदस्य र २०६४ सालको पहिलो संविधानसभामा मौलिक अधिकार तथा निर्देशक सिद्धान्त समितिको अध्यक्ष रहेकी उनी सङ्घीय संसद्अन्तर्गत प्रतिनिधिसभा सदस्य छिन् । त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयबाट वनस्पतिशास्त्रमा स्नातकोत्तर गरेकी पाण्डेले २०५८ सालमा बैङ्ककस्थित एसियन इन्स्टिच्युट अफ टेक्नोलोजीबाट जेन्डर एन्ड डेभलपमेन्टमा पनि स्नातकोत्तर गरिसकेकी छन् । २०७४ सालमा काठमाडौं विश्वविद्यालयको शिक्षा सङ्कायबाट उनले विमेन इम्पावरमेन्ट इन पोलिटिक्स विषयमा विद्यावारिधि गरेकी छन् । पाण्डेका नेपाली श्रमिक महिला आन्दोनलमा महिला सहभागिता (नेपाली र अङ्ग्रेजी), आजका युवा विद्यार्थी-भोलिका दक्ष जनशक्ति र विमेन इन नेपाली पोलिटिक्स कृति प्रकाशित छन् । महिला र श्रमिकसम्बन्धी प्रशिक्षण सामग्री तथा समसामायिक राजनीतिक लेखरचना पनि विभिन्न पत्रपत्रिकामा प्रकाशित छन् ।
Binda Pandey is a Nepali activist, involved in left student politics through ANNFSU on 1980-91, elected as a central treasure of ANWA in 1991, She joined GEFONT in 1993 and served in different positions. Recently, she is chairperson of the Trade Union Policy Institute of (TUPI-GEFONT). She is representing workers' in ILO-GB (2011-2020) from the Asia Pacific. As a political activist, she was a politburo member of CPN-UML (2014-18) and become a central committee member of the Nepal Communist Party after unification in May 2018. Binda was program coordinator of Committee for Asian Women (CAW), Hong Kong-based regional Network of working women in 1994-97. She was a founder member of the National Women Commission of Nepal in 2002-04 and chair of the Fundamental Rights and Directive Principle Committee of the first constituent assembly in 2008-12. Currently, she is a member of the Federal Parliament of Nepal. Binda has completed her master in Botany from Tribhuvan University, Nepal (1997), Gender and Development studies from AIT, Thailand (2002), and PhD from Kathmandu University (2017)
In recognition of her contribution to the women, empowerment movement, she was nominated as 1000 peace women for noble peace prize in 2005, as one of Nine Nepali Women (www.1000peacewomen.org).
