Munamadan Adaptation in Stage
An adaptation of Laxmi Prasad Devkota’s poetry novel 'Munamadan' is currently being staged at Shilpee Theatre Battisputali, in Kathmandu.
Directed by Sabin Kattel, this drama was first staged in Biratnagar, Morang and put together by Birat Adarsha Sahitya Manch.
Muna Madan is adapted by Katwal Deepak and feature actors are Deepa Pokharel, Lakesh Rai, Anjan Poudel, Pavitra Khadka, and Jeena Rai, with director Katel himself portraying the lead role of Madan.
The play will be staged at Shilpee till September 11.
