Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki’s autobiography, Nyaya, was launched at Radisson Hotel, Kathmandu on Saturday. Karki is the first Nepali woman to hold the post of chief justice of Nepal. The launch event included personalities such as senior orthopedic surgeon and activist Govinda KC, former vice-chancellor of Tribhuvan University Kedar Bhakta Mathema, democratic activist Durga Subedi, and senior advocate Surendra Bhandari.
In the event, Govinda KC said: "By writing this book, she has done justice to Nepal, once again". Surendra Bhandari said the books give us a glimpse into the recent political upheavals and the judiciary's role in them.
