Late Pasang Lhamu Sherpa was the first Nepali woman to summit Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world. She was a strong and fierce woman with fire in her bones who climbed many mountains in Nepal and Europe. Late Pasang Lhamu Sherpa overcame many hurdles to cut a path forward which generations of Nepali women continue to walk on.
