'2 States' is a story about a boy(Krish) and a girl(Ananya) from two different states of India, Punjab and Tamil Nadu who fall in love and want to get married. Of course, their parents don't agree because they belong to their own culture. The story is based on how they struggle to convince their parents for the marriage, and eventually succeed in doing so. The novel ends with Ananya giving birth to twin boys. They say that the two babies belong to a state called 'India' with a thought to end inequality.
