Bhuwan Dhungana
भुवन ढुङ्गाना
Bhuwan Dhungana is a Nepali writer and poet. She is best known for her short story The Thousand Rupee Note which has also been translated into English and Urdu. She was born as Bhuwan Koirala on 2 August 1947 (18 Shrawan 2004 BS) in Biratnagar city of eastern Nepal in a political family. She is married to former house speaker Daman Nath Dhungana.
भुवन ढुंगाना कथा, निबन्ध र उपन्यास सबै विधाहरुमा उत्तिकै सकृय रुपमा कलम चलाउने साहित्यकार हुन् ।भुवन ढुङ्गानाको जन्म वि.स. २००३ साल जेठ ३ गते विराटनगर मोरङमा कोइराला परिवारमा भएको हो। ढुङ्गानाको पहिलो प्रकाशित कृति 'शब्दकोशको अ झैं' कविता भएपनि उनी नेपाली कथाकारको रूपमा परिचित छिन्।
उनका श्रीमान प्रतिनिधि सभाका पूर्व सभामुख तथा नेपाली काङ्ग्रेसका नेता दमननाथ ढुङ्गाना हुन्।
