माया ठकुरी
माया ठकुरी नेपाली महिला साहित्यकार हुन्। उनको जन्म सन् १९४६ जुलाई २मा भारतको लखनऊमा भएको हो। उनको सबै तहको शिक्षा भारतमै भयो । उनले बी.ए. र शास्त्रीय संगीतमा जुनियर डिप्लोमा गरेकी छन् ।
ठकुरीले स्नातक तहको शिक्षा आर्जन गरेकी छन् । लगभग पच्चीस वर्ष शिक्षण पेसामा संलग्न उनी विभिन्न सामाजिक, साहित्यिक सङ्घसंस्थासँग पनि गाँसिएकी छन् । ठकुरीका कतिपय रचनाहरू नेपाल र भारतका विभिन्न तहका शैक्षिक पाठ्यक्रममा पनि समावेश गरिएका छन् । उनका कतिपय कथाहरू हिन्दी, बङ्गाली, तमिल, जापानी, अङ्ग्रेजी आदि भाषामा अनूदित भएका छन् । उनका कतिपय लेखरचनाहरू देशविदेशका पत्रपत्रिकाहरूबाट समेत प्रकाशित भएका छन् । उनको प्रथम प्रकाशित रचनाचाहिँ ‘बौलाहा’ शीर्षकको कविता हो ।
Maya Thakuri is a Nepali female writer. She has published eight anthologies of short stories. Her stories have been translated in English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, and are a part of curriculum in various universities in India and Nepal. [2] She is also a member of Nepal Academy .
