Physical Book Retail

• Sold globally via the Thuprai website and mobile apps.
• Fulfilled via on-demand pickup from publisher/author per order, with selective stocking for high-frequency titles to optimize overhead.
• Online payment is accepted globally; Cash on Delivery (COD) is available for deliveries in Nepal. Delivery is available across Nepal and to major cities worldwide.
• Publishers receive 65% of the retail price directly upon book pickup.

E-Book Publishing

• Publish e-books in any language for reading on our Android and iOS apps .
• Optional support for publishing English titles to Amazon Kindle and/or Google Play Books (publishing on Thuprai is mandatory).
• Requires a formatted epub or mobi file.
• Fees: NPR 300 for Thuprai; NPR 500 each for Kindle and Google Play Books (if selected). No recurring fees.

Print-on-Demand (POD) Publishing

• Worldwide availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and international retail networks.
• Requires a formatted PDF or Adobe InDesign file.
• Fees:
  • English Titles: NPR 3,500 setup fee (no recurring fees).
  • Nepali Titles: NPR 15,000 setup fee + NPR 1,500 annual recurring fee.

Revenue Collection & Disbursement

• The publisher dashboard reports e-book, audiobook, article, and POD sales. Direct Thuprai sales are reported in real-time; third-party sales (e.g., Amazon) synchronize periodically as reports arrive.
• Disbursement:
  • E-Books & POD: Thuprai disburses 60% of sales revenue received by Thuprai (after applicable taxes and tax withholdings for international sales) via dashboard withdrawals.
  • Physical Books: Paid directly (65% of retail price) upon book pickup.

Terms

• Thuprai does not reserve any exclusive rights.
• Full copyright is retained entirely by the original right holders.
• Customers bear additional costs for shipping and international transaction fees.
• Thuprai bears the cost of storage and bandwidth for digital distribution and payment gateway commissions for all transactions.
